Campaign For Deeper Discipleship Booklet
In order to raise money for an expansion and building campaign, Myers Park Presbyterian Church created an artistic reminder of its calling for discipleship. Looking at the potential of strengthening the church and expanding its outreach, the new initiative asked members to view discipleship as a way of life. Asking people to give must be done in the most sincere and trustworthy manner. This piece had to evoke an immediate connection with the true reasons for giving.
Challenge
To draw the connection, the cover of the booklet contained an exact representation of the church’s Discipleship Window. Printed on translucent stock and UV coated, the window becomes an exact replica of the historic stained glass window. The window pane had to be placed in an exact location so that when the cover folded back onto itself, the details of the pane matched exactly. This project required precision die-cutting, embossing and hand-work to accomplish the desired outcome. The result was unprecedented realistic quality.
